Today, the thirty-sixth anniversary of the US Supreme
Courts landmark decision, Roe v Wade, thousands of people will be marching in
Washington, D.C., and throughout the country, voicing their opposition to
abortion.
To all who are marching today, know that many more are with
you in spirit. May the Lord grant you peace and courage, prudence, and patience
as you speak out for the unborn. May your voices blend with the saints and
angels, who are praying in a special way today that life be protected and
honored and that the tide will turn in favor of a culture of life.
To all who have been affected by abortion, please know that
you, also, are in our prayers. The Father of mercies and the God of all
consolation has not abandoned any of his children. No sin is too great for him
to forgive. No wound is too great for him to heal. May you come to know the
warmth of his touch and the light of his smile as he looks upon you in unconditional love and compassion!

Prayer
for the Unborn
Heavenly
Father,
in Your love
for us,
protect against
the wickedness of the devil,
those helpless
little ones to whom You have given the gift of life.
Touch with pity
the hearts of those women
pregnant in our
world today
who are not
thinking of motherhood.
Help them to
see that the child they carry
is made in Your
image
as well as
theirs - made for eternal life.
Dispel their
fear and selfishness
and give them
true womanly hearts
to love their
babies and give them birth
and all the
needed care that a mother can give.
We ask this
through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord,
Who lives and
reigns with You and Holy Spirit,
One God, forever
and ever. Amen.

Judi, caring thoughts that demonstrate your devotion. I find it interesting that as this march unfolds nary a mention, then again why would there be? Yesterday the Wall Street Journal was struck by a letter containing a powder. A call to the mayor of NYC for information produced nothing. No one, not a department knew or so they claimed even though emergency personnel were on site and they were in a lockdown. What am I getting at? They only let the people know what they want to and then what they want to release. Best wishes and prayers. Robert. As I read your comments, Robert, I think about a book I worked on a few years ago for an author/client that was perhaps before it's time, America & Iraq: Seduced by Fear. I am trying to persuade the author, Dr. Amaal Tokars, to re-introduce it to the market as it is very pertinent for our present time: don't accept what you're told but work hard at becoming informed [in truth] in order to make a difference. The media spins constantly ["spinmeisters"] and there are things the average Joe's don't know about and, sadder still, don't want to know about. As a people, we've lied to ourselves for so long and it is now difficult to decipher truth. We are in the days of deception and as you know, Robert, it is what it is. If being part of the "gang" means to compromise, then, I guess, I'll not be part of the gang. The white powder incidence at TWJ was covered by Fox but not for long, and, interestingly, never got any alerts about it. When you really observe these days beyond the superficiality, we're living in very sad, tense times which you are very aware of. Thanks for commenting, keep writing, and, as always, my prayers go out for you and your family.
Amazing, I had not even heard about this on the news. Planned Parenthood ( abortion clinics ) is actually our governments way of population control, or at least that is the plan and since the media is controlled by the government, or least by those that control the government, I suppose it is no wonder we hear nothing about these marches.Thankyou for sharing. I was just reading your old article series on getting published when I got the email that you had submitted a new piece. That series is one of my all time favorites! And thank you for commenting, Myla. I, too, am amazed for the lack of coverage, but methinks it just isn't vogue to bring up issues like this anymore but... I'm glad you enjoyed the publishing articles as well, Myla, and please remember if you are considering publishing, "ignorance is not bliss" - the publishing world, like many, is like walking into the "wild west" if not informed. Interestingly, those pieces were easy and fun for me to pen whereas articles such as this present one is draining and "work" -- go figure... Thanks again and stay well.
Thank you Judi, for sharing this important and heart felt prayer of support and healing. Your voice counts. Many blessings to you! Love you bunches, Teresa
