Despite the protest from many angry constituents, the
Bailout bill won the approval from the House this past Friday.
If Congress is correct in their figures, then it will only
cost American taxpayers three trillion dollars to bail out the mortgage
industry. Regardless of the details, the bill has been passed and Capital Hill
can relax and play some golf this weekend.
Since we are overloaded in debt, I am wondering where the
funds to implement this bill will come from...
...methinks from our pals over at the Federal Reserve.
There's and old saying that goes something like this: if you want to hide
something from the general public, then put it in a book. In case anyone is wondering, the Federal
Reserve is a privately owned cartel of some very powerful businessmen. This
cartel works cooperatively with their governments and all other powerful
transnational corporations in a dominant global alliance that allows them to
control the worlds markets, resources, cheap labor and our lives.
Following are some reputable quotes concerning the Federal
Reserve that is available to anyone and everyone who is interested.
Senators & Congressmen:
Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the
international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have
never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates
the credit of the United States. Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AR)
This [Federal
Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs
this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be
legalized.the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this
banking and currency bill. --Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913
From now on,
depressions will be scientifically created.--Congressman Charles A.
Lindbergh Sr., 1913
The financial system
has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the
finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is
Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible
profits from the use of other peoples money.--Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923
The Federal Reserve
bank buys government bonds without one penny.--Congressman Wright Patman,
Congressional Record, Sept 30, 1941
We have, in this
country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer
to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people
of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done
this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it.--Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa)
The Federal Reserve
banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a
man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by
the International
bankers.--Congressman Louis T. McFadden (Rep. Pa)
Some people think
the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States governments institutions. They are not
government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the
people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign
swindlers. --Congressional Record 12595-12603 Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of
the Committee on Banking and Currency (12 years) June 10, 1932
I have never seen
more Senators express discontent with their jobs.I think the major cause is that, deep down
in our hearts, we have been accomplices in doing something terrible and
unforgivable to our wonderful country.
Deep down in our heart, we know that we have given our children a legacy of bankruptcy. We have defrauded
our country to get ourselves elected.--John Danforth (R-Mo)
These 12
corporations together cover the whole country and monopolize and use for
private gain every dollar of the public currency. Mr.
Crozier of Cincinnati, before Senate Banking and Currency Committee, 1913
The [Federal Reserve
Act] as it stands seems to me to open the way to a vast inflation of the currency I do
not like to think that any law can be passed that will make it possible to
submerge the gold
standard in a flood of irredeemable paper currency.--Henry Cabot Lodge Sr.,
1913
From the Federal Reserves Own Admissions
When you or I write
a check there must be sufficient funds in out account to cover the check, but when the
Federal Reserve writes a check there is no bank deposit on which that check is
drawn. When the
Federal Reserve writes a check, it is creating money.--Boston Federal Reserve Bank
Neither paper
currency nor deposits have value as commodities, intrinsically; a dollar bill
is just a piece of paper. Deposits are merely book entries.--Modern Money Mechanics Workbook, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, 1975
The Federal Reserve
system pays the U.S. Treasury $20.60 per thousand notes a little over 2 cents each without
regard to the face value of the note. Federal Reserve Notes, incidentally, is
the only type of currency now produced
for circulation. They are printed exclusively by the Treasurys Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the
$20.60 per thousand price reflects the Bureaus full cost of production.
Federal Reserve Notes are printed in 01, 02, 05, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollar
denominations only; notes of 500, 1000, 5000, and 10,000 denominations were
last printed in 1945. --Donald J. Winn, Assistant to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System
We are completely
dependant on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in
circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money we are
prosperous; if not, we
starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. It is the most
important subject
intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that
our present civilization
may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very
soon. --Robert H.
Hamphill, Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank
Past Presidents, not including the Founding Fathers
Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master
of all industry and commerce. James A. Garfield, President of the
United States
A great industrial
nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is
concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst
ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the
worldno longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by
conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress
of small groups of dominant men.--President Woodrow Wilson
Founding
Fathers Quotes on Banking
I believe that banking institutions are
more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they
have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance.
The issuing power (of
money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to
whom it properly belongs. --Thomas
Jefferson, U.S. President.
If Congress has the right [it
doesnt] to issue paper money [currency], it was given to them to be
used by[the government] and not to be
delegated to individuals or corporations. --President Andrew Jackson, Vetoed Bank Bill of 1836
History records that the money
changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means
possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and
its issuance. --James Madison

You gotta admit this, folks: our pals in the Federal Reserve know the wisdom of what's stated in
Proverbs 22:7: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant
to the lender." So you see, America, ignorance is not bliss... now where are
my golf clubs... oh, never mind, I cant afford to play!
Judi another fact filled article yet sadly we can only come to the conclusion that this audience is not the one we should be writing to and that many do not concur even when fact is before them. The number of readers should be significant in number because of the topic and the urgency of it and yet it doesn't reflect that interest. No not the author by any means, the interest. This article presented point after excellent point and yet I wonder what people do with it after they read it? Sadly I am afraid come election day we will get more of the same. It is inevitable because those who vote, not those who are unhappy, but vote, will bring it about and that is why in my opinion those in power could care less and consider us Joe six pack or woman Wal Mart Moms and above all CATTLE. Good for cheap labor only. I know we reach some and with that i will keep going and hopefully you as well. Great Job, Robert.Due to the subject matter, it doesn't pay to be disappointed but, I agree, Robert, I can see that there is no interest in writings like; reads are way too low. We are only weeks away from an election and lives are changing by the moment. Well, the lack of interest won't stop me either, Mr. M -- Let's keep truckin' and hopefully some will be touched and maybe, just maybe, one day we can really meet for that cup of coffee. Hope you're enjoying your Sunday -- now it's off to the supermarket! (smile)
I see you're still upset. But you did a good job of writing an article about your anger. Just cut back the unnecessary spending and save, save, save! The poor girl from CA.April this is not directed at you but your comments did spark some thoughts. It seems this is good advice when one can cut back on frills. It really is sound common sense. But, cut back on what may I ask when you have done all that already? Your past due electric that is 120% more, due to fuel sur charges? How about cutting food consumption? Yes unhealthy foods are cheap. Fuel for the car, well there goes that low wage job. I agree but, when you've done that, eliminated the frills, then the only thing left is get rid of it all. Hand the keys to the bank for the home and car and get yourself that nice duplex cardboad box on Pennsylvania ave. That is if there is still room left for a prime spot. Yes a little anger this morning. The St, Pete times wrote an article yesterday that if you need help call 211. What a farce. Even the girl who answered admitted that. Church, ok I won't go there. Too busy with the new building fund. It seems there is always a suggestion never a hand. Sorry Judi, I just had to add my 2 cents, oh sorry I only have one left. PS: Pretty soon I'll have no sense and that is probably what most think of my writings. [wink] RobertNo worries at all, Robert, you are always welcome to comment anything you want on my writings and actually, you've stated things better than I could; unfortunately, we can't afford to become paralyzed - I have elderly relatives who live in your state (Florida) who are struggling beyond belief; hard working people who should be enjoying the "winter" of their lives and they are so tightly boxed in financially it's disgusting - There's not much more cutting back we can realistically do and Capital Hill doesn't give a hoot about "joe six-pack" and, sad to say, most churches are too busy preaching...Hi April -- As I re-read my comment to you, I decided to delete it and re-respond to you. If my only reason to pen these articles was to relieve my own anger then that would be vanity and, frankly, vanity can be fulfilled in other ways. I write out of deep concern for our land and for the future of our/your children - this is not about me but is about us and "we the people" - And, yes, I suppose my deep concern is mixed with anger but then again is that not our right when we see our beloved country taken over by dimwits? Isn't that what motivated our past - remember the Boston Tea Party? The problem today is that too many are concerned with being "politically correct" and allowing others to handle the woes of our nation and look what's happened -
Good article yet, sad state of the nation Judi. I daydream at times and wish we could just start over. So much for that. Our biggest problem is that our so called constitutional rights are no more. More money for government and less for the American people. Our founding fathers are probably turning over in their graves. As far as being angry, doesn't everyone get angry at some point? Even Jesus was upset with the money-changers. The trick is not to hold on to it.God bless you alwaysTrust me, Michelle, I too wish we could go back in time and start over but, as they say, "it is what it is." -- Yes, I agree that our founding fathers must be turning over in their graves but we still have a voice that God Willing , may, just may, make a difference. Thanks commenting and keep praying and writing! God bless you as well, my friend!
hi judi girl, great article, horrible truths. fear seems to be rampant among the greatest nation in the world, and yet, no one is asking us why? or doing anything to appease that fear. and then, there are our kids! God please help us all, thanks for sharing,my best, sueHi Jersey Girl! you hit the nail on the head when you ended with concern for our kids -- I don't want our children to inherit "the sins" of the past... I join with you asking for God to help all of us... Thnx for commenting!
The US Treasury will print the new money - the very same way that money for earmarks is created The treasury does not have any money, but it has the authority to print as much as it wants to. The United States Military backs the US dollar. Nothing else does. If there are 2 dollars in circulation, each of those dollars is worth one half of the value of our military. There are currently about 14 trillion dollars in circulation. After the bailout "bill" is passed, there will be about 16 trillion dollars in circulation. That means every dollar in your pocket is now worth about one sixteen trillionth of the US military. The next earmark congress passes will the make the bottom number of that fraction that much bigger. This all started when democrats in congress wanted Fannie Mae to back loans that poor people could not afford. Fannie Mae backed loans that borrowers could not pay back - all in the name of helping people, who could not afford to own houses, buy houses. When those borrowers failed to pay back the loans, Fannie Mae caved in on itself. Taxpayers are replacing the lost money. Franklin Raines ran Fannie May for 6 years. His base salary was one million dollars a year, plus a bonus. That bonus was calculated as a percentage of the dollar amount of oustanding mortgages that the agency insured. Raines decided to change the rules so Fannie Mae would insure a huge number of mortgages - more than it could afford. This way, his bonuses would get a lot bigger. Franklin Raines exposed Fannie Mae to risk that was well beyond the amount the agency could handle, just to increase his bonuses. Raines was paid 90 million dollars in 6 six years. Remember, his base salary was one million per year. He created 84 million dollars in bonuses for himself by exposing the agency to risk that was well beyond its ability to handle. The result of his work? The current taxpayer bailout.
Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush both tried to rein in Fannie and Freddie - both were unsuccessful. That means the two agencies were/are very powerful. Too powerful.Barney Frank defended Raines actions every chance he got. Today, Frank called those who correctly accuse him of social engineering, racists. Huh? Barney Frank is arrogant, corrupt and incompetent. His position in the senate will protect him from accountability. Our wonderful government at work - again. Thanks Barney - how is your 401k doing? Pretty well I suppose - yours is insulated by the congress, right Barney?Anon, this is an atrocity that has slapped each American Citizen hard in the face. As Robert Melaccio often says we should vote each of them out and I believe that Raines and the rest should absolutely be prosecuted for the injustices they've done - but will America stand together and act? I'm not sure... there's a promise of change going around... I pray that American's don't react from fear but begin to stand strong convicted in truth and in solidarity... Anon, feel free to vent here anytime...
Judi, this article was well researched and presented. You are to be commended. Americans must awake and realize that we must regain control of our government. The only method of sucessfully recovering our government is through a major representation of the population at the ballot boxes everytime there is an election. Make-believe politiians like some Illinois Senators are creating havoc among our own nation and threatening our very existence. We must, as a nation, wake up, think, and vote..Mr. Ted, I wholeheartedly agree that America need's to wake up and regain our government but do I have faith in that? Not sure... too many are buying into the empty lies and promises of deceitful politicians... And, as I say often, God help us. Thanks for commenting, my friend!
Another great article Judi and unfortunately it is so true. The worst part is that partisan politics has blinded peoples eyes where each party tries to blame the others. Regardless of which party, there are three or four people who are more guilty than most of the rest. Franklin Raines, Barney Frank, Alan Greenspan, are three of the most guilty. Barney Frank closed his eyes while playing house with Herb Moses, an executive of Fannie Mae, and then Frank received the most money donated by Fannie Mae for any politician's campaign. Then our own Barack Obama was the next largest recipient. All of those involved should be sentenced to hard labor on a hog farm.Joel, you say, "All of those involved should be sentenced to hard labor on a hog farm." -- aren't you being a little easy? (smile) I agree whole-heartedly with everything you say - thanks so much for commenting!
judi--you are prolific! You correctly point out something most folk don't know--the Fed is a private entity!!Hi Walter -- thanks for the compliment but I assure you, prolific I'm not -- let's just say that I pay attention.... Thanks for commenting and hope we run into each other sometime... I'm at Publix more times than I care to (smile) -- enjoy your weekend, Walter!
